Wear With Holoholo -- Jewellery

The first Holoholo collection has been a labour of love - and I'm talking lots of labour and lots of love. It's great to see it in full now, and to be able to sell it to some lovely people as well. As one of the key facets of our designs is that they suit a minimalist style, it has been a source of joy and ever so slight procrastination to find accessories that can be paired with Holoholo pieces for that laid-back, chic look.

As usual I have had to look no further than Holoholo's Pinterest for inspiration - and have honed in on a few of my favourite pieces created and sold by small businesses around the world that I feel would team beautifully with any Holoholo garment.

The array of amazing jewellery that can be found when you go a little off-piste from the usual high-street or enormous online stores is something I really love about the internet - and Etsy is particularly brilliant for finding handmade pieces that you may have never come across with a standard google search. If you find yourself on the lookout for a new something special to finish off your outfit - or even a statement piece upon which to build a look completely - I urge you to take a look at what you can uncover in the world of small businesses and boutiques. Now I may or may not be off to make a little purchase for myself...

Well I Never

Despite my best efforts to organise myself and decide what to buy today from the previous post, I spent the day in Bath looking at all the things I could find in the shops, but ended up with nothing to show for it. Feeling utterly defeated we headed back to the car park but on our way decided to have a gander in All Saints - a shop I love dearly but can rarely afford to buy from. And then...

This happened.

The beautiful Riviera dress caught my eye and it was love at first sight! Glad I found something so perfect and that I can now stop stressing over what to treat myself to. Successful day!

I'm looking forward to wearing it with bare legs and Jack Purcells in the coming warmer days (here's hoping), and dressing it up for sophisticated (ahem) cocktails with my pals. Hope everyone else's Saturday has been as sunny and enjoyable as mine!

Brucey Bonus

I hadn't really planned on doing one of these kind of posts since I'm generally not that big of a coveter (not that you'll believe that after reading this). Having consistently been a student from the age of 5 until less than a year ago I have never had a particularly large amount of money aside from birthdays I suppose, which has meant I have shopped with a drip-feed approach ever since I learned to shop for myself. It's not often (read: never) that I go on a spree - rarely do I end up with more than three items in one go - but that doesn't bother me as it's always the way I've done it.

However... this week I won a little award at work and as such have earned myself a whopping £50 bonus (I know, crazy) and now I have no idea what to treat myself to! Since I went on holiday I'd been planning not to spend much on things I didn't need, and have therefore had my finger off the pulse for a few weeks. This has caused somewhat of a dilemma as I've got to spend my little bonus fairly sharpish so that I can have the receipt validated (they can't just give me cash). Who knew spending £50 could be so difficult?!

So, in my usual over-enthusiastic manner I've put together a little visual shopping list to choose from...

And how could I forget Urban Outfitters?

It is now apparent to me that I do have the knack for internet shopping, that I am terrible at making decisions and that I can covet many things at once quite comfortably when I put my mind to it. I am beginning to wonder whether it would be acceptable for me to choose one item from each section of the list... completely sabotaging the aim of saving but still, it's all so nice... I need help!
