Practice

Making the first blouse from 100% bamboo has been an interesting task so far, it's definitely stretching me as a sewist (if you'll pardon the pun). Haven't quite finished as the buttons & button holes do not yet exist, but they should be on by tomorrow evening so we can test this baby out. Fun!

For now it's hanging above my sewing table looking rather drapey and quite soft (see above). Hoping the bits I ordered for pattern cutting will arrive tomorrow or Tuesday so I can get on with the next sample and decide which fabric will make the cut... (not sure what's with all the puns tonight)
